Experience

Sharon O'Ryan is a seasoned HR professional having served at Board level with International HR responsibility and nearly 30 years of experience in financial services, maritime and insurance industries, charity and public sector organisations with projects spanning the field of human resource management. She holds a post graduate diploma in Industrial Relations and Employment Law and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. (FCIPD) 

In addition to being the founder of HR Consulting Solutions Ltd, established in 2003, Sharon was for the last 7 years, the Director of Compensation and Benefits for Spinnaker, a global shipping recruitment consultancy. Representing Spinnaker, she was the Director of the Maritime HR Forum providing salary benchmarking and general HR advice ensuring that Spinnaker clients and Forum members had access to a wealth of data and experience on Compensation and Benefits and HR matters in general. Sharon is now leading the development of the Insurance HR Forum, an exciting new reward initiative.
